A day Never to forget....

Day back a 22 years old person whom i know very well was admitted In the hospital for a creaser attack at KMC mangalore . As he was recovering it was all fine ,we were four of friends waiting outside as he was inside resting or rather sleeping there ,it was noon so all of us decided to go for lunch so went and informed the nurse that we are leaving , the nurse was like at least one should stay here ,so I said that I will stay here and the rest can go for lunch . It made sense because the three of them were non vegetarians and I am a pure vegetarian
Initially they were a little hesitant but eventually they agreed it was about 1 pm they left my friend was sleeping inside I tried to sleep but was successful only for 5 minutes as I was getting bored so thought of looking around I went left found a coffee vending machine
Which had a cup noodles called “Moodles” , so decided to try that so paid 20 rs to him , he said no change then I even took a coffee so it was exactly 20 rs , then came back to my place in the mean time there was an aunt who was sitting right next to me , I have this weird habit to talk to people all the time , so thought of exercise that habit again and tried , so I first smiled , but it looked like she was waiting anxiously outside the intensive care unit. So tensed , the only person there whose age would be between40- 50, she was running to all the places including pharmacy, canteen and the doctor's room. She was really shattered by some incident as well as these running between places. I heard she talking over phone of them saying "wish Mr. ABC was here to help us" and "wish Mr. LULU was here to help us". Now this Mr.ABU and Mr. LULU are all men from this family who are now well settled abroad. The helpless older generation really wish there were some men in their family who could run around and support them during hard time like this!!!
But she was so tiered eventually sat back at her place , so I really wanted to know , but it looked like she was a little hesitant to tell me, but I asked her are you alone aunty , she was like yes , as she was from a village of Karnataka., and it was her son who was admitted , because of excessive drinking , but she never told me this a little conversation I had with her
She never told me exactly what happened but she felt unlike others , her son was left back in the “RACE” because as I told her that I was from manipal she was like oh you are lucky type things , and that her son was not in manipal .I tried my level best to convince her that I am not studying Information Technology but she knew only that and I still feels she things I am studying IT , and asked me when will I be going to america , I just smiled I thought Its because boom had blessed the educated youth with lucrative job offers abroad. Today the average youth parents from India has only one dream. Get a job in Information Technology arena and some how settle in U.S.A. or marry and leave India to countries like U.K. or Ireland. This uncontrolled flow of youth towards foreign countries has made the left behind older population really helpless during there hard times. Most of the families are today left with helpless old men and woman. I really wanted to tell her that it would be like they stay in big palatial houses their kids have built them.....all alone........waiting to see their grand children for the first time............fighting with the maid to get a good meal.........begging with the driver to take them to a temple or church.....................
But just kept quite , and there was times when I asked her how was her son , but she was so interested to know when I plan to leave India , I was like may be never I will leave India
She said one of her sisters son works there and has a car now , in the meanwhile the doctor called her for some reason , after that we dint have any conversation then later they shifted her son to somewhere else , and never saw her again I hope her son was alright
I really want to say one thing finally that the only thing is that aunty wanted was
Her son should mint dollars for the generations to come!!!.
